Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia Presenting With Multiple Rib Involvement: Case Report

Fibrous dysplasia is a benign fibrous-osseous lesion of the. It accounts for up to 30% all benign chest wall tumors and most commonly presents as a mass in the lateral or posterior rib cage. The patient was 35-year-old man and was admitted with a chest pain on the left side. Chest X-ray and CT demonstrated on the 4th, 6th. nd 8th ribs expantion. Incisional biopsy of the sixth rib was performed, and the histopathological features were consistent with fibrous dysplasia. The patient was discharged with medical therapy and is doing well 6 months after the diagnosis.
