Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia Presenting With Multiple Rib Involvement: Case Report

aGöğüs Cerrahisi AD, GATA, Ankara Fibrous dysplasia is a benign fibrous-osseous lesion of the. It accounts for up to 30% all benign chest wall tumors and most commonly presents as a mass in the lateral or posterior rib cage. The patient was 35-year-old man and was admitted with a chest pain on the left side. Chest X-ray and CT demonstrated on the 4th, 6th. nd 8th ribs expantion. Incisional biopsy of the sixth rib was performed, and the histopathological features were consistent with fibrous dysplasia.
